Disney's 2025 live-action adaptation of Snow White reimagines the classic 1937 animated film. Directed by Marc Webb, the film stars Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.
The narrative follows Snow White as she allies with seven dwarfs to free her kingdom from her malevolent stepmother. This version emphasises Snow White's evolution into a courageous leader, moving beyond the traditional damsel-in-distress trope. The screenplay, co-written by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson, introduces new songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, including Waiting on a Wish.
