The Community

Watersmeet is a unique venue located in the heart of Rickmansworth. The venue allows visitors to experience a range of visual, literary and performing arts and arts related activities. 

Acting as a focal point for the residents in Rickmansworth, Mill End, Chorleywood, Croxley and surrounding areas, local people have been able to enjoy past productions and ballets which have been staged at Watersmeet include Billy Elliot, Les Miserables, Fame, The Nutcracker and Beauty and the Beast. 

In addition, the venue regularly works with production companies and theatre groups to support local talent in the area and promote art related activities.

Art gallery

The venue is also home to ‘Artistsmeet’, a contemporary art exhibition space which has been created in the foyer of Watersmeet. The space with its white walls, wooden floor and spot lighting, provides support and opportunities to art societies in the local area. 

This quality exhibition space is perfect for established artists to exhibit their work and provides local residents of all ages the chance to see an array of excellent quality art work without having to travel into London. Artistsmeet is open during Watersmeet Box Office hours. Entry is free of charge.
