MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you have a 'What's on' brochure?
These are produced 3 times a year and can be collected from the box office.  If you are not able to visit us in person, you can download one online or we will post one to you.

What time does the show start and will the bar be open?
Please check your ticket or the website for the time of the event.  The bar and box office will be open one hour before curtain up.

Where's the nearest public toilet?
Watersmeet has a community toilet which is available during box office hours.  During pantomime and some other shows, access is not allowed and you will be guided to the council offices.

Disabled facilities
The venue is fully accessible.

When booking your tickets, please ensure you advise the box office if you require assistance or you are a wheelchair user. 

Please note: Due to our fire regulations, space for wheelchair users and their essential carer will be located in Row S.

Watersmeet offers the following facilities: 
  • Lift from the lower to the upper foyer
  • disabled toilet
  • emergency exit for wheelchair users
  • infrared hearing devices

When is my favourite show returning?
If you have enjoyed a particular show, please do let us know.  We can't guarantee it coming back and we will always wait at least 18 months before its return.

How do I exhibit in the art gallery?
Artistsmeet is managed by the Arts Officer at Three Rivers District Council and can be contacted by email:  leisure@threerivers.gov.uk

How do I become a volunteer?

The performance I want is sold out - is  there any way to get tickets?

Keep an eye on our website, you'll be able to add your name and ticket requirements to the waiting list and we'll be in touch if any tickets become available.


How can I find out if there are any tickets available for today?

Call the box office during open hours or check online.


When will tickets be released for future productions?

We constantly add new shows and films to our programme, so we recommend you visit the website on a regular basis to see the latest events.


How do I buy vouchers?

You can buy vouchers for yourself or as a gift online or through the box office, find out more by clicking the link.


GROUPS

How do I book for more than 10 people?

Please call the Box Office on 01923 711063 to see if group discounts apply to the show you wish to see.


How do I book tickets for a school/educational group to see a production?


Please call the Box Office on 01923 711063 to see if group discounts apply to the show you wish to bring them to.


Can I arrange a backstage tour for a group?

We do not currently offer backstage tours, but if you have a specific request, please contact the box office and we will do our best to tailor make something for your group.


Can we pre-order our ice-creams?

Group bookings of over 10 people can pre-order ice cream for the interval. For more information contact the Box Office on 01923 711063.


PAYMENTS

Do you charge a booking fee?

Any booking/admin fees are included in the cost of your ticket and you will not be charged any additional fees.


Which cards are accepted?

We accept all major cards with the exception of American Express and Diners.


Can I pay by cash?

Yes.


Can I pay by cheque?

No, these are no longer accepted at the Box Office.


DELIVERY

Do you post out tickets? When will they arrive?

We prefer not post tickets out, they can be collected in advance or on the night. Digital tickets on your phone are also accepted. When you book your tickets you will receive an email confirmation from "Watersmeet Box Office".


COLLECTIONS

When can I collect my tickets?

Tickets can be collected immediately from the time of booking until the performance begins. Please bring either your payment card or booking confirmation email with you to collect.


Can someone else collect my tickets?

Yes, please let the box office know in advance if this is the case. Please also provide the person collecting with a copy of your booking confirmation email to make collection easier.

 BOX OFFICE OPENING HOURS

When are you open? 
The box office is open Tuesday-Fridays from 10am-2pm and one hour before most shows.

The box office is not open on Bank Holidays (unless a show is taking place and will be open for one hour before curtain up).

SEATING PLANS
Where can I find the seating plan for the theatre? 
When purchasing tickets online, you will be offered a full view of the auditorium or this can be shared with you if you come in to the venue during opening hours.

TICKET EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

Can I return my tickets? Will I get a refund?
We regret that tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged after purchase, except when an event is cancelled.

Can I exchange my ticket(s)?
Subject to availability and return of original tickets, we can exchange tickets for another performance of the same production and a £2 administration fee will be charged for this service. Where the new performance is at a higher cost, the price difference will be charged, but if lower, we would not be able to provide a refund.

What happens if the show is cancelled?
If a show is cancelled, you will receive an email asking you to contact the box office. In this instance only, we can offer a full refund or credit note (valid for 12 months).
 CONCESSIONS & CHILD TICKETS

What concessions are available?
Where applicable, we offer concessions for full-time students, people over the age of 60 and under 18, schools, groups of 10+. 
Please note:  Not all shows will offer a concessionary rate.

How do I book a concession ticket online?
All our concessions are available online. Once you have your seats in your basket the option to apply discounts is given.

What discount do you offer to people with a disability?
For most of our shows, we offer a free essential carer seat to the person accompanying the customer with a disability. 
Proof of disability is required and will need to be shared with the box office prior to the event.

How can I book disabled discount tickets?
You can only book these over the phone on 01923 711063 or at the box office. They are not currently available to book online. 

Baby Tickets
The majority of our children’s shows have 'Babe-In-Arms' tickets available. These are free tickets, but must be booked with the Box Office either by phone or in person prior to attending the show. Babe-in-Arms tickets allow a baby of 24 months or less to sit on their parent’s laps for free. No seat is provided. Nappy changing facilities can also be found within the theatre.

On the day! 

Where can we park?
For more information, click hereAfter 4.30pm (Monday-Friday) and all day Sunday and Bank Holidays, you can park in the upper or lower deck of the Three Rivers District Council staff car park.  Saturdays from 8.30am-6.30pm you must register for a ticket and pay at the machine.
Please note:  The lower car park closes at 11pm.

Can we bring our own food? 
No, this is not permitted. A range of refreshments and snacks are available at all performances. Refreshments and light snacks can be purchased at the bar or the kiosk.

Can we pre-book interval drinks?
Yes, these can be ordered at the bar on your arrival.

Can we bring in car seats?
You may bring along the base of a car booster seat or cushion to allow your child a better view of the stage. 

Do you offer hearing assistance?
We have infrared hearing devices available at no charge. Please make yourself known to the Front of House Manager when you arrive and ensure you test the unit issued prior to the start of the show.
