Mufasa: The Lion King is a prequel that delves into the origins of one of Disney's most iconic characters this February half term at Watersmeet. The film introduces Mufasa as a vulnerable cub, separated from his family and struggling to survive in the vast, untamed wilderness. His world changes forever when he encounters Taka, a charismatic yet enigmatic lion who is the heir to a royal bloodline. Taka, though regal, harbors insecurities and ambitions that add layers of complexity to his character.

Their chance meeting becomes the foundation of an unlikely bond, as the two lions, along with a group of misfit animals, embark on a journey to find purpose and belonging. Along the way, the group faces trials that test their courage, loyalty, and resolve. The film promises to explore themes of identity, the burden of legacy, and the transformative power of friendship.

Tickets: £4.50, £3.50 (child)
