Three Rivers District Council are hosting an event to discuss and understand the impacts the fashion industry has our communities and its contribution to the climate crisis. 

The evening will include guest speakers and your chance to put your questions to a panel of experts:
  • A member of Hertfordshire Waste Partnership, to shine a light on what happens to textiles collected in Hertfordshire
  • A representative from the National Charity Shop Association
  • A local resident who has over 20 years’ experience working in fashion and retail (most recently with the Arcadia Group and Monsoon/Accessorize) heading up the Sustainability function and covering ethical trading, environmental management, supply chain engagement, Modern Slavery, circularity, social impact, community programmes and also participated in numerous industry initiatives. 
  • Lovedup Reloved is a brand that brings together communities who care about sustainability, not only in the fashion industry but planet in general. Working towards a zero waste policy, we bring glamour to second hand clothing and upcycling of materials to extend the life cycle of garments and accessories. 
The event forms part of the national great Big Green Week is being supported by Watford and Three Rivers Friends of the Earth as part of the South West Herts Great Big Green Week.
